Innovaccer Health Cloud Certified by NCQA

Innovaccer is now a certified data partner for NCQA’s Data Aggregator Validation (DAV) program. The NCQA is a nonprofit organization that accredits and certifies a wide range of healthcare organizations and recognizes clinicians and practices in key areas of performance.

Being a certified data partner for NCQA’s DAV program means that the NCQA has validated one or more cluster(s) of clinical data, which are ingested, processed and ultimately exported by the Innovaccer Health Cloud as Continuity of Care (CCD) files. The NCQA evaluated the Health Cloud’s data streams from the point of ingestion through output of CCD files, ensuring that its standards and protocols are met, and that the data provided from the original source accurately reflect what’s reported for use as standard supplemental data for HEDIS and other quality programs.

“NCQA’s Data Aggregator Validation program helps identify clinical data that can be trusted and sets a high bar for how the data are managed,” said NCQA President Margaret E. O’Kane. “We are excited that organizations like Innovaccer are working to improve trust in clinical data and help ensure the data’s accuracy and broader usability.”

The Innovaccer Health Cloud breaks down data silos by unifying healthcare data into a single, longitudinal patient record in an open, secure and scalable cloud data platform. In this unified data model, all healthcare data sources—including clinical, claims, labs, pharmacy and external third-party data sources such as social determinants of health (SDoH)—are cleaned, standardized and integrated. The platform supports FHIR standards for healthcare data interoperability as well as custom analytics models that can work across platforms and applications.

“Data integrity and data security are fundamental prerequisites to value-based care. By helping our customers establish a rock-solid data fabric, and empowering them to leverage that data to do advanced analytics and quality reporting, we enable them to improve care, lower costs and deliver better patient experiences,” said Abhinav Shashank, cofounder and CEO of Innovaccer. “We thank the NCQA for administering this program and are proud to serve as an NCQA Certified Data Partner.”
